THRIVE is a supportive space for mothers and their babies between birth and five months of age facilitated by Sue Power.
Our groups run consecutively every 9 weeks in Thornbury. THRIVE is a safe, non-judgemental and nurturing space that offers you an opportunity to explore the many new experiences of becoming a parent while learning to build confidence, develop coping skills and strengthen your relationships.

Over 9 weeks we aim to support you with skills so you are able to learn

· How to be more present and connected with yourself, your baby and in other relationships

· How to be more aware of your reactions to situations and respond more wisely and calmly

· How to navigate the changes of becoming a mother with more self-compassion and awareness

Each week we will explore a different theme that includes identity, love, relating, sexuality, family values and rituals, and creative parenting. As we explore these themes we also aim to embody mindfulness skills that can be integrated into your daily life. This course is all about you and supporting this transition and is not about adding something extra to your list of ‘to-dos’. Therefore self-kindness and compassion, relating and communication skills are key foundations of the course.

The full cost for the entire 9 weeks is only $360 - $40 for 2hrs of nurturing each week. The full amount is paid prior to the start of the course. If you are experiencing financial difficulties at this time please be in touch to arrange a payment plan. Please be aware we are unable to give a commitment to whether this course will be run in person in its entirety as there may be times we have to be online or outside. If the course is run indoors, it is a requirement of the space that participants are fully vaccinated for Covid-19.
